The Company

Farmec Ireland Ltd. was established in 1994 to represent established farm and amenity machinery manufacturers with high quality products in the Irish market.

Mission statement

We are committed to the importation and distribution of high quality tailored products to meet the needs of agricultural and amenity dealers and ultimately farmers, contractors and golf courses.
We commit to supplying a reliable, professional and customer orientated sales, technical support and parts service at value for money prices.

Distribution

The company’s products are distributed through a nationwide network of 40 established specialist dealers strategically located to provide an effective sales, service and parts support system throughout the country.

Staff

The company is owned and managed by Geoff and Garry Daly. Geoff Daly has 40 years experience in the farm machinery business in Ireland.
He is a past council member of the Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade Association and served as president of that body for a two year period in 1988-1989 when the first indoor show for farm machinery in Ireland was organised. Sales and financial support is the responsibility of Garry who has eight 8 years sales and marketing experience and is studying in the final year of the CIMA accountancy qualification. Service and parts support staff are based at the company’s storage and distribution facility.

Suppliers

The company has exclusive distribution rights for substancial manufacturers of farm and amenity machinery based in Italy, Germany, Canada, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Premises

The company’s offices are located at Clonross, Drumree, Co. Meath.
Storage and distribution facilities are located at Naul, Co. Dublin.
